Why did we go this
way instead of upsells and downsells? It was a test really.
First we listened to our customers. Not that we had a survey
or anything like that. We just recognized a continual and
consistent theme that they were sick of all the
upsell/downsell options.
From there we had a choice to make. Do we
ignore them and put in all the upsells and downsells? Or do
we try this option of a straight sale and probably leave
some money on the table?
